Sunshine Coast Council maintains BBQ facilities at many parks including Shelly Beach Park, Federation Park, Clarke Place Park, Peregian Breeze Park, and Baringa Forest Park. Many parks have sheltered BBQ and picnic facilities.

Can I bring my own BBQ to parks in Sunshine Coast?

<p>During <strong>Local Fire Bans</strong> in Queensland:</p><ul><li><strong>Gas and electric BBQs</strong> are permitted</li><li><strong>Charcoal, wood-fired and heat bead BBQs</strong> are prohibited</li></ul><p>Check the <a href="https://www.fire.qld.gov.au/safety-education/using-fire-outdoors/fire-bans-and-restrictions">Queensland Fire Department website</a> for current fire bans.</p>
